More strong results for the industrial sector......demand is very high and rents are rocketing. How will supply keep up and is there a cap on rents that occupiers will pay for warehousing?
I heard some interesting views on the need to innovate warehouse /logistics design...... in particular the need to build multi floor warehousing to keep up with demand. Apparently Japan has done this for years very successfully. How will developers and occupiers react here? The costs of construction will certainly increase dramatically and how about congestion issues for occupiers accessing and exiting large multi floor schemes.....this sector is certainly evolving rapidly.
