On Tuesday 20th September Regent’s Park, Scott Burn, Tom Mills, Fei Pan, Harriet Beswick, Hester Coltman-Rogers, Ed Bird, Robert Mullarkey, James Howland, Paul Burke and Chris Wilkinson took part in the LandAid10K to raise money for homelessness.
LandAid’s aim is to create 1000 homes for vulnerable 16–25-year-olds by 2024, and the vital funds raised from this event will ensure that we edge ever closer to this ambitious target. The number of young people facing homelessness has now exceeded 122,000, with too many young people sofa-surfing, sleeping on public transport or rough sleeping - which makes this year’s 10K is more important than ever.
Last year 129,000 young people approached their local council for housing support.
With your support, we can help transform these young lives, providing safe, secure accommodation across the country for those young people most in need, helping them to reach their full potential.
to help end youth homelessness.
