Public mistrust all parties involved in development

It will not come as a great surprise that the public have an inherent mistrust of the motives of property developers, although a 98% figure for that mis-trust is especially stark.  Of even greater concern, however, are the findings that large swathes of the public don't trust the Councils in the development process either, and not (as you might think) for reasons of ineffectiveness.  Half of the public believe that Councils are only interested in money, and nearly 40% of the public believe Councils do not have their community needs at heart.  These are deeply concerning statistics, and show that all sides in property development have much to do to improve the image.

We must rebuild trust in our developers
