It is easy to fall into the trap of seeing this as the privileged rich versus the unwashed hordes (if unwashed hordes routinely visit Tate Modern) but what this really feels like is a victory for common sense in a world where developers of ultra high end flats, sorry, apartments increasingly ignore practical issues such as - my neighbour is 20 feet away (albeit) 150 feet above the ground and, thanks to your combination of floor to ceiling glass in a studio and my budget, can now judge me on my Lidl pesto. And my net curtains...pass me those binoculars...
