Join us for our latest discussion on "Alternatives: Student Property"

The senior associates at Maples Teesdale are delighted to invite you to their next Emerging Leaders breakfast event on the morning of Tuesday 17 July.

Following a networking breakfast, we will be hosting a panel discussion focusing on Purpose Built Student Accommodation as an alternative investment sector.

We are happy to have Ruth Thompson from Tristan Capital Partners (as our "investor"), John Holley from Knight Frank (as our "agent") and Marcus Weeks from Unite Students (as our "developer") on the panel. They will discuss why Student Property is having its heyday now, the investment trends for this alternative sector and the occupier concerns influencing the players' appetite for such developments, as well as a look ahead to identify potential concerns and the next big opportunities.

The Emerging Leaders is a networking forum aimed at mid-level property professionals - that is associates, associate directors and asset managers - who will be the next generation of partners, directors and fund managers.

Please email events@maplesteesdale.co.uk to RSVP to the event.

If you know of others within your organisation (or other contacts in the property industry) that you think would benefit from being part of this forum and/or attending this event, please feel free to share this invite with them.

In recent years, the topic of affordable rent provision and development viability in London for Purpose Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) has become a contentious topic amongst developers, investors, agents and valuers alike.
