The latest for the redevelopment of Battersea Power Station which is part of the Nine Elms regeneration look exciting but (showing my age) I always liked the Pink Floyd pink elephant. Unfortunately, my pocket money back in the late 70s was too little for me to afford a the album Animals.

EG took a tour inside the two mammoth projects, Battersea Power Station and the US Embassy, the cornerstones of the regeneration of Nine Elms in London.
At Battersea, whose phase one is now complete, up to 2,000 construction workers toil inside the roofless riverside icon each day. Four huge cores are being built to support the new floors and atrium, which from 2020 will house the 500,000 sq ft Apple HQ .
